Air Canada has just launched direct flights from Singapore to Vancouver, becoming the sole airline offering non-stop service between the two cities. This milestone route spans approximately 12,818 kilometres, marking Air Canada's longest flight to date, with a flight duration of around 14 hours and 40 minutes.

“These new Singapore flights are part of our strategic expansion at YVR which, together with an efficient and seamless in-transit connection process, further position the airport as the preferred North American gateway to Asia,” said Mark Galardo, executive vice president, revenue and network planning, at Air Canada.

Changi Airport in Singapore also welcomed the new route, anticipating increased travel between Singapore and Canada, as well as improved access for Singaporeans to North American cities. The collaboration with Air Canada is expected to boost passenger traffic through Changi Airport.
