A THB 500 million renovation at Phuket’s beachfront properties

THAILAND - Thavorn Hotels and Resorts announced a THB 500 million (approx. US$ 16,040,000) renovation project at two of their beachfront properties in Phuket - Thavorn Palm Beach Resort, at Karon Beach and the signature property Thavorn Beach Village & Spa, at the secluded Nakalay Bay.

Thavorn Palm Beach Resort will completely refurbish all 209 rooms at the prime beach front location on Karon Beach. The Luxury, air-conditioned rooms blend colonial and Contemporary Thai for a true experience of Traditional Eastern style. Natural materials with contrasting soft and strong colours create a cozy, relaxed Interior Design. All Rooms feature spacious bathroom with glass panel to provide natural light and views over the private terrace and tropical gardens.

At Thavorn Beach Village & Spa, all existing bungalows on the white sand shores of Nakalay Bay will be converted into Luxury, air-conditioned villas offering beach front, beach side or sea facing, garden views. Interior design blends Colonial Thai style with soft colours and wooden furniture for a cozy, warm and relaxed ambience. All villas feature a spacious private terrace for refreshing sea breezes and 'Semi-Outdoor Bathroom' with natural material decorations and clear panelled roof.

Kairop Suwansenee, vice-president, Marketing, Thavorn Hotels and Resorts, said, "The newly renovated rooms are a redefining of luxury and style in our exotic beachfront garden settings. In-house guests and former guests of the resorts will be invited to enjoy special promotional rates of 30 per cent discount off our best available rates for a limited period only, with newly renovated rooms available from November 2012 onwards."
