Wyndham Destinations, the world’s largest timeshares and vacation
ownership company, has teamed up with JALUX Inc. (Japan Airlines
Subsidiary Company) to offer JAL points for prospective customers who
have indicated an interest in attending sales presentations.
Despite the halt to non-essential travel in early 2021, Wyndham
Destinations established the Wyndham Destinations Japan in February, and
it seems that the company’s Japan division was not lying sedentary
during that period.
Plans had been in the works for a partnership to be established
between Wyndham Destinations Japan and JALUX to drive business recovery.
With its recent announcement of the partnership, Wyndham Destinations
Japan has unveiled a set of incentives to generate marketing leads.
With JALUX as its marketing partner, people who attend a Wyndham
Destinations Japan’s sales presentation anytime from now to 10 January
2022 will receive 3,000 JAL miles to use towards future travels.
In addition, JALUX has also started marketing one of Wyndham
Destinations’ products — membership of the newly established Innovative
Holiday Club by Wyndham — on its website platform.
“The Innovative Holiday Club vacation ownership product gives members
usage rights at thousands of properties around the world including, as
part of the membership currently, properties at 110 countries through
exchange partner RCI,” said Senior Vice President of Sales, Kieran
Mckenna.
Customers who sign up for this membership will be able to stay at
club resorts and affiliated resorts in Southeast Asia, Hawaii, North
America, Europe, Australia and Japan. They may additionally be entitled
to a share of the net proceeds when the club term expires, and its
assets are sold.
