The Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch has opened reservations for stays starting 1 March, offering earlier availability ahead of its autumn debut.
The luxury property sits within one of the capital’s most recognisable landmarks, the Admiralty Arch monument, opposite Buckingham Palace.
This also marks the first time in history guests get to stay in the restored Grade I listed monument. The Admiralty Arch was commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria and opened in 1912.
The hotel will span 18,580 sqm and offer 114 rooms, suites and residences.
The names of the residences and signature suites will reference the building’s unique history and naval heritage, including the Nelson Suite, St James’s Residence and Victory Residence, named after HMS Victory – the world's oldest naval vessel still in commission.
Two restaurants anchor the hotel, including one helmed by famed French chef Daniel Boulud and another from acclaimed British chef Clare Smyth. Together, the two chefs have a total of eight Michelin stars across their restaurants.
Smyth's restaurant, Coreus, will focus on sustainably sourced seafood, British produce and seasonal ingredients. Smyth will also introduce Whiskey & Seaweed, a bar showcasing a selection of UK whiskies.
Cafe Boulud, located on the hotel's rooftop, will offer all-day dining and views of St James's Park and Buckingham Palace.
To unwind, the hotel's spa offers a sauna, steam room and a hydrotherapy pool.
