Ideally situated between Hibiya Park and Ginza, 200 meters southwest of the Hibiya subway station and just minutes from the Marunouchi financial district, this is the capital's best-known hotel, dating from 1890, when it was built at the request of the Imperial family to house the many foreigners flocking to Japan.
