Crystal has confirmed its third next-generation ocean ship, with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri set to deliver the vessel in 2034.
The ship will join Crystal Grace, currently under construction also at Fincantieri and scheduled to debut in 2028, as well as a sister ship due in May 2031.
Like its sister vessels, the new ship will accommodate 650 guests and measure approximately 62,000 gross tonnes. The design will include all-veranda suites, an Owner's Suite and new accommodation categories aimed at evolving traveller preferences, including solo travellers.
Other planned features include a full wraparound promenade inspired by those aboard Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, as well as panoramic ocean views while at outdoor dining terraces and various open-air venues.
The latest order extends Crystal's newbuild pipeline through 2034, as the luxury line looks to grow its fleet and respond to “continued strong demand for the brand's expanding portfolio of global itineraries”.
“The response to Crystal Grace has exceeded our expectations, reaffirming the demand for authentic, exceptional travel experiences,” said Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group. “With each new ship, we are building on Crystal's legacy while thoughtfully evolving the experience for a new generation of luxury travellers.”
