Location and History
The Current is situated on the shores of Tampa Bay, outside downtown Tampa, in Rocky Point. It's a small peninsula that juts into the bay near the airport and is filled primarily with condos, private homes, hotels and office buildings.
Opened in 2019, The Current was created by the same owners of Tampa's upscale Oxford Exchange complex, located downtown. As a result, they already have an established local following from Tampa's elite society set.
