Location and History

Built in 1963 as the San Juan Puerto Rico Sheraton, it later became Dupont Plaza and was closed for almost a decade after a tragic New Year's Eve fire. In 1995, the hotel reopened as San Juan Marriott. A high-rise on Ashford Avenue in the heart of the Condado tourist district, it caters both to leisure and corporate travelers.
