Location and History

Founded in 1980, this family-owned property is one of the best options in Lago Agrio, or Lago for short. Officially, the town is called Nueva Loja, or New Loja, named for the original inhabitants of the area who came up from the province of Loja, but that name is only found on the map. Locals simply call it Lago.
