Location and History

Located in a former asylum that was once the city's most feverish prison, this is one of those places that earns the most praise from its dining room, but the accommodations are certainly not punitive.

Part of a regional chain, with nearly two dozen hotels scattered about the U.K., this is a coy Kimpton copycat that has remained small, character-driven and service oriented. Its location in Old Town makes it great for tourists.
