In Back Bay, near Copley Place, Copley Place T station and the Amtrak station, conveniently located for business and pleasure, this seven-story hotel built in 1891 is one of Boston's oldest.

While many traditional elements remain (including shoebox-sized guest rooms at the lower end of the rack card), the hotel was thoughtfully updated to appeal to a new generation of travelers.
