Location and History
Less than an hour's driving distance from Yellowstone National Park and a little less to Bozeman, this resort has been a long time coming. Wooing the Montage brand to Big Sky was a concerted effort on the part of tourism officials as they seek to draw a more upscale, higher spending visitor. The hotel is set within the Spanish Peaks gated community, and it is surrounded by the Tom Weiskopf Signature Golf Course and beginner to intermediate ski runs.
Since opening in 2021, the hotel has become the area's premier property.
