SINGAPORE – Iconic nightclub Zouk Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) will be taking the clubbing experience into people’s homes with a series of virtual parties in the last weekend of May.

The parties will feature both local and international DJs and musicians. International headliners include American DJ Diplo and British DJ Christina Novelli while popular local artists include Zouk resident DJs LeNERD and Che’Molly, as well as DJ KoFlow, rapper Yung Raja and singer-songwriter Jasmine Sokko.

Comprising three virtual parties hosted on video conferencing platform Zoom, Zouk Phuturescapes will kick off in the US on May 29 (11pm EDT), followed by Asia and Australia on May 30 (8pm SIN), and the UK on May 31 (5pm LDN). These parties will also be streamed live on the organisers’ Facebook and YouTube pages.

According to a release by STB, this collaboration acts as an opportunity for both brands to explore new concepts in showcasing Singapore’s vibrant offerings, while supporting local talents.

Said STB assistant chief executive (Marketing Group) Lynette Pang, “We aspire to take the concept of virtual parties to the next level through a mix of content curation, immersive technology, audience engagement, and innovative marketing. In doing so, we will showcase the best of Singapore’s entertainment and nightlife, and shine the spotlight on our home-grown talents.

International headliners include American DJ Diplo and British DJ Christina Novelli while popular local artists include Zouk resident DJs LeNERD and Che’Molly, as well as DJ KoFlow, rapper Yung Raja and singer-songwriter Jasmine Sokko.

To ensure that the revelry is not limited to a one-way interaction, STB and Zouk will be offering augmented reality (AR) filters on Instagram, one of which will feature an image of Diplo against a 3D background of Gardens by the Bay. Moderators will also use Zoom functions like Poll to offer contest giveaways, while Spotlight will feature selected participants grooving to the beats.

Up to 1,000 guests can register for each of the three parties.
