The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has
published a social media series that showcase the archipelago nation's
natural beauty and diversity of unique experiences.
‘Experiences
Live from Maldives’ is a 10-episode series, featuring 45 – 60 minute
videos, that started streaming since 18 January 2022 via Facebook,
Youtube, and MMPRC’s social media channels comprising Weibo, WeChat, and
others in Japan and South Korea.
Livestream events have been curated to specifically target 14 key
tourism markets spanning Asia and Europe, South America and Oceania. The
aim of this campaign is to elevate Maldives’ positioning in the tourism
world and cement its appeal as a bucket list destination by featuring
the many sights, sounds and flavours of the destination.
The series also highlights how the Maldives, with its
one-island-one-resort model, naturally creates safe distancing that
travellers seek for safe and worry-free vacations. Viewers can
additionally discover the country’s latest tourism offerings that
include new experiences at resorts, hotels, guesthouses and liveaboards.
As
2022 marks the Golden Jubilee for Maldives tourism, the MMPRC has lined
up over 60 in-person events for the year, beginning with 11 fairs,
roadshows and events scheduled for the first quarter.
