Virgin Voyages has launched a new sales gimmick - an annual cruise pass that will allow cruisers to explore every Virgin ship, including inaugural voyages on the latest vessel, Brilliant Lady, debuting in September 2025.
Those who purchase the pass will be able to sail for a year on any ship in the adult line founded by Richard Branson.
Travel advisors who sell an Annual Pass will earn a commission of US$10,000.
Another attractive element of the deal for passengers is that annual pass holders are able to add a plus-one to their cabin, with the opportunity to travel with different companions throughout the year.
“What started as a sought after ‘work from sea’ concept with our Season Pass has evolved into something even more special,” said Branson.
“We’re offering unlimited opportunities in a way that has never been done in cruising before.”
The Annual Pass includes special perks including priority boarding, complimentary laundry services, dedicated concierge support, unlimited premium wifi, and a $100 Bar Tab credit per voyage.
Also included is access to exclusive events and experiences.
The $120,000 plus taxes cost for an annual unlimited cruise pass is based on a double Sea Terrace cabin with a balcony and hammock, for single or double occupancy. Travellers can upgrade to a different cabin for an additional cost.
The pass can also be purchased using Bitcoin, a first for the cruise industry.
Pass holders can select one of four start dates next year and the pass will be valid for one year from the desired start date.
Cruisers must book between now and 31 March, 2025.
