Royal Caribbean International’s Spectrum of the Seas has confirmed a 2026-27 Hong Kong homeport season, featuring an expanded deployment and exclusive one-time only itineraries.
The 4,905-pax ship just concluded its 2025-26 homeport season in Hong Kong, sailing from 23 November 2025 through 23 January 2026.
According to Royal Caribbean, this next season return comes on the back of “exceptional guest feedback and diverse passenger demographics”, pointing to the over 32% of guests on destination sailings originating from international markets including North America, Europe, and Australia.
In particular, the two-night weekend getaway saw the most success, introducing young and first-time cruisers to vacationing at sea.
What to expect for 2026-27 homeport season
For its 2026-27 homeport season, passengers can expect an expanded schedule, new itineraries including exclusive, one-time only sailings.
Making a much-anticipated comeback is the combined Japan and South Korea itinerary – a route not offered from Hong Kong for years.
Exclusive sailings include the four-night Vietnam visit to escape Hong Kong’s cooler November period (16 November); a repositioning cruise from Shanghai to Korea then Hong Kong (1 November); and an Okinawa and Taipei getaway (6 December).
New itineraries include Tokyo, Osaka, and Busan, with the option of one-way voyages – such as sailing from Hong Kong to Tokyo while visiting South Korea too, or embarking in Tokyo before returning to Hong Kong.
Introductory deals are now open for 2026-27 bookings by 31 March, giving 50% off the third and fourth guests on selected sailings. Bookings made before 6 March on balcony and suite bookings are also eligible for up to US$200 in credits per stateroom.
