Disney Adventure is “one step closer to calling Singapore home!” writes the company in its latest Facebook update.

Disney Cruise Line (DCL) and shipbuilder Meyer Werft finalised the handover of its newest ship on 16 December in Bremerhaven, Germany, attended by Walt Disney Imagineering and shipyard partners.

This will be the first Disney ship to homeport in the region, “uniquely blending our signature cruise offerings with elements specifically tailored for guests from Asia,” shares Sarah Fox, vice president and regional general manager for Southeast Asia.

Offering primarily three- and four-night voyages with dedicated days at sea, the Disney Adventure will be packed with exciting new attractions and many “firsts” to bring Disney’s famous magic to life in a fresh and immersive way.

With seven themed areas onboard, guests can step into areas inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel including Disney Imagination Garden, Toy Story Place, San Fransokyo Street, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, Disney Discovery Reef, and Marvel Landing.
