Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has taken delivery of the Norwegian Luna, the brand’s 21st ship which will debut in Miami later this month.
After the Norwegian Aqua, this will be the second ship in the next-generation Prima Plus Class, with an overall 10% size and capacity increase from its sister ships.
In her first year, Norwegian Luna will homeport in Miami and offer a variety of three- and four-day Bahamas voyages, as well as seven-day Caribbean itineraries.
Starting November 2026, the ship will then sail Western Caribbean itineraries, including a call at Harvest Caye, NCL’s private resort-style destination off the coast of Belize.
The 3,565-passenger Norwegian Luna features 1,809 staterooms, 17 dining options as well as 18 bars and lounges.
Outdoor highlights include the aqua slidecoaster, a hybrid between a waterslide and rollercoaster exclusively available on NCL, and the new amusement-park-style Luna Midway featuring carnival-inspired games.
Families can tackle the multi-level obstacle course at Moon Climber, or head to the Luna Game Zone serving up retro arcade favorites and virtual reality experiences. Sports and social play merge at the Glow Court, featuring an interactive LED floor that transforms from an energetic play space by day into a lively club by night.
Adults can check into the award-winning Mandara Spa, before picking from a list of night activities. Apart from the Vibe Beach Club, multimedia show HIKO: Innovation Meets Wonder features cirque-style acrobatics and contemporary dance, while productions pay tribute to entertainment greats, including Elton John and American rock band the Eagles.
Meals can be sorted at the main dining rooms serving a rotating menu of classic favorites and international dishes. For instance, Indulge Food Hall offers nine food stations, or head to specialty restaurants such as Le Bistro, NCL's signature French restaurant, or Thai restaurant Sukhothai. A 24-hour eatery also serves casual bites.
