Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled a range of new onboard experiences and amenities for its forthcoming ships, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna. Both vessels, launching in April 2025 and 2026, are part of NCL’s Prima Plus Class, offering a variety of attractions designed to appeal to a broad range of travellers.
Key highlights of the new onboard experiences include:
Aqua and Luna Game Zone: An evolution of NCL’s Galaxy Pavilion, this gaming space features virtual reality games such as Space Racing and Beat Hero, alongside retro arcade favourites like Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.
Bull’s Eye Bar: A reimagined darts venue with interactive components, complete with a full-service bar offering handcrafted cocktails.
Tee Time: A supercharged mini-golf experience, featuring 12 interactive holes across two decks, themed around the Wonders of the World.
Pickleball Court: A dedicated space for pickleball, separate from the main stadium area.
Additionally, Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna will feature updated wellness and fitness facilities, with the following enhancements:
Mandara Spa: Now includes a clay sauna, thalassotherapy loungers, and IV drip therapy. Guests can also enjoy the spa’s signature two-story cascading waterfall.
Thermal Suite: Doubled the number of heated loungers compared to previous ships, offering expansive ocean views.
Pulse Fitness Center: Redesigned with modern equipment and offering a variety of workout classes such as yoga, Pilates, and cycling.
“The two sister ships will introduce a brand-new venue to the fleet, the Aqua and Luna Game Zone, along with thoughtfully redesigned spaces, bringing back many more of our best-in-class offerings, beloved by our guests and inspired by their feedback,” said David J. Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line.
Norwegian Aqua will commence its Caribbean voyages in April 2025, with Norwegian Luna joining in 2026.
