Disney Cruise Line has announced the launch of its Local Artist Series onboard the Disney Adventure, beginning with a collaboration with Singaporean visual artist Danielle Tay.
Tay’s artwork will be showcased as a featured piece onboard the ship and will form the basis of a capsule merchandise collection available exclusively on the Disney Adventure. The painting depicts Captain Mickey Mouse and friends arriving in Singapore, surrounded by local elements such as otters, tropical flora and fauna, and the city’s skyline.
Alongside the artwork, guests will be able to purchase merchandise inspired by the piece, including home décor, tote bags, tea towels with batik-style prints, and plate sets. A special lithograph of the illustration will also be available.

“It has been a joy and an honour to design this special collection for Disney Cruise Line,” said Tay. “My hope is that each piece feels like a little adventure – a way for everyone to bring a bit of Singapore’s warmth and wonder home with them.”
Tay is known for her vibrant murals and nature-inspired collages, with works held in both private and public collections. Her portfolio includes commissions for brands such as Meta, Shake Shack, and the Singapore Tourism Board.
The Disney Adventure, Disney Cruise Line’s first ship to homeport in Asia, will begin sailing from Singapore in 2025. The ship will offer three- and four-night cruises featuring only sea days.
