Disney Cruise Line will withdraw from Australia and New Zealand following the 2025–26 cruise season. The move will end the brand’s three-year presence in local waters, which began in late 2023 when Disney Wonder launched its inaugural “Disney Magic at Sea” cruises.

The 84,130-gross ton Disney Wonder, which accommodates 2,713 guests, will operate its final regional season from October 2025 to February 2026. The programme features itineraries of three to ten nights departing from Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland, with a mix of port calls and “cruises to nowhere.”

The ship’s last round-trip voyage in the region will be a three-day sailing from Sydney departing on 30 January 2026. It will then embark on a 14-night one-way voyage from Sydney to Honolulu on 2 February 2026.

Disney Cruise Line’s exit follows similar decisions by Cunard and Virgin Voyages, both of which have ceased operations in Australia post-pandemic. While the company has stated that Australia and New Zealand remain under consideration for future deployment, Disney Wonder will not appear on port schedules for the 2026–27 season.

The redeployment comes as Disney Cruise Line prepares to expand in Asia, with the new Disney Adventure scheduled to homeport in Singapore from December 2025 for an Asia Pacific programme.
