Disney Adventure has officially begun her journey to Singapore, following her handover from shipbuilder Meyer Werft to Disney Cruise Line late last year.
According to a 6 January LinkedIn post by Joe Schott, president of Disney Signature Adventures, the ship has departed the Meyer Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany, and is en route to Port Canaveral, Florida. From there, she will continue her global voyage via Madeira, Los Angeles and Tokyo before arriving in Singapore, her homeport, according to Disney-focused publication WDW.
Set to launch her maiden voyage from Singapore on 10 March 2026, Disney Adventure will be Disney Cruise Line’s only Global-class ship and one of the largest in its fleet, accommodating more than 6,000 guests.
Following a reschedule of its maiden voyages, the arrival of the much-anticipated Disney Adventure in Asia is poised to open up new opportunities for travel agents to curate multi-generational holidays, family sailings and premium group travel.
