Celebrity Constellation sails in to Singapore for inaugural Asia season

Arriving in Singapore for the first time on January 26, the 2,038-passenger ship has already been fully booked for her 10-night Chinese New Year cruise.

Celebrity Constellation is making a splash with its new deployment to Asia for the season. 

Arriving in Singapore for the first time on January 26, the 2,038-passenger ship has already been fully booked for her 10-night Chinese New Year cruise.

She will be sailing to Ko Samui, Bangkok (including an overnight), Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang.

To commemorate her maiden call, a welcome ceremony was held on board the ship at the Reflection Lounge, during which Singapore Tourism Board’s assistant director, cruise business development, Wong Jiali, exchanged plaques with Captain Vittorio Cantu from Venice. 

From now till April, it will also be making maiden calls to Laem Chabang (Bangkok), Hong Kong, Manila and Kota Kinabalu with itineraries ranging between 10 and 15 nights. 

Both Celebrity Constellation and its sister ship Celebrity Millennium will be cruising throughout Southeast Asia till April 2017. The former will return to the region in January 2018, while the latter will return in September this year.

Celebrity Cruises recently announced the appointment of Singapore-based Apple Woo as its dedicated head of sales and marketing for the Asia region, who reports to Jo  Rzymowska, VP and managing director Asia.
