Carnival Cruise Line is rolling out an express dining service, serving groups of up to six guests their multi-course dinners in under an hour.

“Our guests continue to tell us they value greater flexibility in how they spend their time on board, and express dining was designed…[to give] guests the ability to use more of their time to enjoy all the other onboard fun,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

She added that pilot trials for the new service had received positive feedback. This follows an earlier roll out of open seatings allowing passengers to eat in the main dining room at any time during dinner hours.

Available nightly in each ship’s main dining room, express dining delivers multi-course dinners a la minute, mirroring the main dining room offerings with a slightly abbreviated selection, with a focus on reducing service time. Special dietary requests continue to be accommodated.

The service is now available on 15 ships and will roll out across the entire fleet by the end of May. Guests can book within Carnival’s app under the ‘Your Time Dining’ feature.
