Azamara Cruises is set to return to Alaska in summer 2026 after a seven-year hiatus, offering small-ship experiences and immersive itineraries. Guests will sail on the Azamara Pursuit for 10- to 13-day voyages that feature extended port stays of ten hours or more, allowing for meticulously curated shore excursions that showcase Alaska's natural beauty, wildlife, and local culture.

Key features of the itineraries include visits to remote destinations like Kodiak and Dutch Harbor, as well as extended stays in ports such as Juneau, Wrangell, Skagway, and Ketchikan. The cruises will also include 27 late-night departures, maximising time in each port.

Azamara's commitment to destination immersion will allow guests to deeply engage with Alaska’s culture, highlighted by unique experiences like the iconic AzAmazing Evening event. In Ketchikan, this will feature cocktails, traditional performances, and a special lumberjack show, providing a captivating glimpse into Alaskan traditions.

Michael Pawlus, head of itinerary planning, and CEO Dondra Ritzenthaler emphasised their dedication to enhancing itineraries and land experiences, responding to guest feedback and ensuring an unforgettable journey that captures the essence of Alaska.
