The Oasis Class revolutionised the cruise industry with the introduction of Oasis of the Seas a decade ago and again with the introduction of Symphony of the Seas in 2018. 

Royal Caribbean has begun construction of its fifth Oasis class ship, scheduled to be delivered in 2021. 

The steel cutting, marking the official start of construction, took place at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint‐Nazaire, France.

The Oasis Class revolutionised the cruise industry with the introduction of Oasis of the Seas a decade ago and again with the introduction of Symphony of the Seas in 2018. 

The fifth Oasis Class ship will combine the seven‐neighbourhood concept that her sister ships feature with a bold lineup of entertainment and the latest technology.

Royal Caribbean International is the world’s largest global cruise line. Each successive class of ships has lifted the bar for architecturual excellence, as well as featuring the latest technology and guest experiences.

The cruise line offers itineraries to more than 260 destinations in 72 countries on six continents, including Royal Caribbean’ highly-anticipated Perfect Day Island Collection with the first private island in The Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay. 

The cruise line has also been voted “Best Cruise Line Overall” for 16 consecutive years in the TravelWeekly Readers’ Choice Awards.
