Singaporeans' confidence to travel has risen with the announcement of a possible quarantine-free upon return reality.
According to Finder's Travel, in June 20.3% of Singaporeans said they plan to travel in the next three months. This shot up to 43.9% in July.
Of this group of potential travellers, those from the 18-24 age bracket are the likeliest to fly with almost half (49.57%) planning at least one trip.
The next group are those in the 35-44 bracket.
The top three destinations showing the hungriest appetites to fly, either domestically or internationally, in the coming August, September or October are Singapore (43.85%), The Philippines (42.82%) and India (37.50%).
This is against a global average score of 27.76%.
Conversely, the destinations with the least number planning trips are Australia (14.87%), New Zealand (17.65%) and Canada (17.65%).
