Experience s platform Klook has partnered with Meta to integrate its offerings with Muse, as the personal AI agent makes its debut in Japan.
The integration enables travellers to search, discover, compare and book Klook experiences through a conversation with Muse, with payment completed on Klook’s secure payment page.
Drawing on Klook’s inventory of 426,000 bookable offerings across more than 4,600 destinations, Muse can recommend experiences tailored to travellers’ interests, availability and preferences.
Travellers can also ask Muse follow-up questions, compare options and check booking conditions, including cancellation and rescheduling policies.
When ready to book, travellers can tell Muse to proceed. Muse then places the order and directs them to Klook’s secure payment page to complete the transaction.
Once payment is completed, Muse confirms the booking in the same conversation, with booking details stored in the chat for reference.
Throughout the process, Muse seeks the traveller’s confirmation before taking sensitive actions, including placing orders and initiating payments.
Klook says the integration also gives smaller, independent merchants greater visibility and access to relevant travellers.
“We’re taking travel discovery to the next level with Meta’s Muse, innovating together as travellers increasingly turn to AI for inspiration and trip planning,” says Jakii Chu, SVP, global marketing at Klook.
