AVIAREPS has been appointed by Rhaetian Railway, the largest Swiss operators of private rail networks and operator of Glacier Express and Bernina Express, as its market representative in Malaysia.
The announcement, which came into effect on January 1, 2018, sees AVIAREPS responsible for the rail’s sales promotions and marketing activities in the Malaysia market.
The Rhaetian Railway serves a number of major tourist destinations, such as St Moritz and Davos. One of the RhB lines, the Bernina Railway crosses the Bernina Pass at 2,253 metres above sea level and connects with the Italian railway network at Tirano, Lombardy – all of which are popular routs for Malaysian travellers.
“Malaysian travellers are hungry for adventure and are constantly exploring new travel destinations. Rhaetian Railway’s appointment of AVIAREPS in Malaysia and Singapore follows the ongoing successful representation of the railway by AVIAREPS in India and China.
