A full day New Zealand cultural programme: ‘Maori: The Legendary Warriors’ will be held Saturday, September 1.

The Haven by Jacada Travel in Central will transform into a cultural hub of all things New Zealand, showcasing both the country’s wine and gourmet scene through tasting workshops and its dynamic Maori culture through the mastery of arts and crafts.

The New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute is flying four artists to Hong Kong so they can demonstrate their craftsmanship. Artists include James Rickard, master carver; Rick Peters, stone and bone carver; Leilani Rickard, weaver, and Jacob Tautari, tā moko (tattoo) artist. The sessions are free.

The Haven by Jacada Travel is at 29/F Wyndham Place, 40 - 44 Wyndham Street, Central.

Free consultations throughout the day are also available with Jacada expert travel designers Jess Tang or Jobi Chan discussing holidays to New Zealand.
