The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) marked its 60th anniversary by
recognising 27 individuals and organisations at the Singapore Tourism
Awards 2024.
The ceremony, held at Raffles City Convention Centre on 28 June 2024
with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong as the guest of honor, celebrated
contributions to tourism excellence in Singapore.
Seven recipients received Top Awards, while 20 were selected from 83
finalists across Experience Excellence, Enterprise Excellence, and
Customer Service Excellence categories.
“2024 marks Singapore Tourism Board's 60th anniversary, and their
[the winners'] achievements exemplify the remarkable passion and
commitment of our people who have shaped Singapore's dynamic tourism
sector over the past six decades,” said STB Chief Executive Melissa Ow
as she congratulated the winners.
Notable Top Award recipients include:
- Pamelia Lee: Lifetime Achievement for Outstanding Contribution to Tourism
- Ron Tan, Executive Chairman & Group CEO of NEON Group: Outstanding Tourism Entrepreneur
- Lynette Tan, CEO and Chairwoman of Space Faculty Asia: Best Business Event Champion
Special Recognition awards were given to:
- Kung Teong Wah, General Manager of PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering
- Damian D'Silva, chef and owner of Rempapa
- Changi Airport Group
- Singapore Airlines Group
