The National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) is set to
host its 60th travel fair from 16 to 18 August 2024 at Singapore EXPO
Halls 4 and 5. The event, themed "Your World and Beyond," will feature
over 70 exhibitors, including nearly 40 travel agents, airlines, cruise
operators, and National Tourist Organisations (NTOs).
Nine NTOs will participate, with new representatives including the
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority and Kyoto by the Sea DMO.
Visitors can expect travel deals, packages, stage performances, and
destination-sharing sessions.
NATAS President Steven Ler said, "The NATAS travel fairs have grown
considerably since its inception, serving as a pivotal hub where travel
agents and travel-related organisations converge to share the best of
travel expertise with avid travellers."
Brunei Darussalam is the destination partner for this year's event.
His Excellency Dato Dr Manaf, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism
of Brunei Darussalam, will attend the opening ceremony. NATAS and Brunei
Darussalam will sign a Memorandum of Understanding to promote
cooperation.
Etiqa Insurance Singapore returns as the official travel insurer.
NATAS and NTUC LearningHub will sign an MOU to develop a Certified
Travel Professional programme, aiming to enhance skills in the travel
sector.
The fair runs from 10am to 9.30pm daily, with free admission.
