Steven Chan appointed GM of Crowne Plaza Changi Airport(1)

SINGAPORE - Crowne Plaza Changi Airport announced the appointment of Steven Chan as general manager. Chan joined Crowne Plaza Changi Airport in September 2007 as the executive assistant manager and was part of the pre-opening Management Team. He played an integral role in determining the operational systems in Rooms and F&B and has helped positioned the hotel as one of the flagship Crowne Plaza Hotels in the Asia Pacific region. "It has been a fantastic year for Crowne Plaza Changi Airport and we have an amazing and passionate team that I look forward to continue working with in building our hotel's position as one of the leading business hotel in the region," said Chan. Prior to joining the Hotel, Chan was the Director of Brand Standards and Services with IHG Asia Pacific. He played an instrumental role in formulating the Asia Pacific brand standards for Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn. Chan has also held the positions of director of rooms and area director of Revenue Management in other establishments.
