Galaxy Macau has signed a four-year strategic partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) that will see three UFC FIGHT NIGHT events staged at Galaxy Arena between 2026 and 2029.
The agreement also includes hosting the opening round of ROAD TO UFC Season 5 in 2026, a tournament that offers emerging fighters from the Asia-Pacific region a pathway to compete in UFC.
Galaxy Macau previously hosted UFC FIGHT NIGHT MACAU in November 2024, its first UFC event in a decade. The sold-out show attracted 12,000 fans and saw Chinese athlete Shi Ming defeat Feng Xiaocan in the women’s strawweight final to earn a UFC contract.
Each UFC FIGHT NIGHT in Macao from 2026 will be accompanied by a week-long programme of activities such as fan meet-and-greets and fighter appearances.
Kevin Kelley, chief operating officer – Macau of Galaxy Entertainment Group, said: "We're thrilled to partner with UFC, the world's largest MMA promotion entity, to bring world-class fight nights to Galaxy Arena. This partnership reflects our ongoing support for the Macao SAR Government's vision to integrate tourism and sports."
Dana White, UFC president and CEO, commented: "This new partnership with Galaxy Macau couldn't come at a better time. It's great for fight fans in China and massive for the sport."
Kevin Chang, UFC senior vice president and head of Asia, added: "In 2026, Macau will be the launchpad to UFC in Asia. Together, we will deliver the pinnacle of mixed martial arts and cultivate the next generation of talent."
