Westin Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of The Westin Nirup Island Resort & Spa, Batam, marking its fifth property in Indonesia.
Located on the private Nirup Island, the new resort is accessible via a 20-minute ferry ride from Singapore’s HarbourFront Terminal or 40 minutes from Harbour Bay Batam.
Spanning the entire island, the resort features 94 guest rooms and suites, and 52 private villas. All accommodations include outdoor spaces and are equipped with the brand’s next generation Heavenly Bed, Westin Heavenly Shower, and Westin Bath amenities. The design takes inspiration from the local Orang Laut community.

Dining options at the resort include Island Kitchen, Nirup Social Bar & Lounge, Salt Simply Seafood, and the Constellate Pool Bar, which offers 360-degree island views.

Each room features a Heavenly Bed, private balcony or terrace with ocean views, Westin Bath amenities, a 65-inch smart TV, air conditioning, and eco-friendly materials.
Wellness facilities include the Heavenly Spa by Westin, a WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio with ocean views, and a variety of outdoor activities such as sunrise yoga and guided island treks.
Event facilities include a 450-square metre ballroom and three meeting rooms, with options for oceanfront weddings and private celebrations.
