The opening of The St. Regis Red Sea Resort marks the luxury property as the very first private island resort in Saudi Arabia.
Situated on Ummahat Island in the Al Wajh Lagoon, The St. Regis Red
Sea Resort is accessible by chartered boat or seaplane from the newly
operational Red Sea International Airport. The resort features 90
beachfront and overwater villas, offering one-to-four-bedroom
accommodations with private amenities.
The architectural and interior design integrates with the natural
surroundings, drawing inspiration from coral reefs, marine life, and
desert landscapes. Dune Villas, inspired by desert sand formations, and
Coral Villas, resembling shells, showcase the resort's commitment to
distinctive design.
The resort offers a variety of dining experiences, such as Gishiki 45
that offers a Japanese-inspired menu in a modern setting; Tilina, a
steakhouse serving prime cuts with local spices; and Nesma that immerses
guests in the local culture with contemporary Middle Eastern dishes.
The Dune Villa, a 2-bedroom beachfront retreat spanning 116sqm, offers a well-appointed living and dining area, complimentary wireless internet, and modern amenities, including a TV and coffee/tea maker.
The St. Regis Red Sea Resort embodies sustainable luxury in alignment
with Saudi Arabia's 2030 vision, relying on solar energy from a leading
battery storage facility. The resort actively promotes waste reduction,
recycling, water treatment, and eco-friendly practices. Following LEED
platinum guidelines, it ensures efficient, cost-saving green structures.
The resort has also successfully planted one million seedlings in its
mangrove nursery, with the goal of establishing 50 million mangroves by
2030.
