A Mövenpick Resort & Spa will be opening soon at Bintan Lagoon, offering 420 rooms and suites, as well as the island’s longest stretch of private beach.

The resort is currently hosting invited guests only, before opening to the public on 18 December.

Amenities include a beach club, spa, multiple pools, kids’ splash zones, sports courts, fitness centre, creative playrooms, a recreation village as well as six dining venues.

Apart from an all-day restaurant, ocean pool bar, and a Japanese izakaya, there’s also a sports lounge – located in the recreation village – serving up burgers and cocktails amid a live sporting atmosphere.

Guests familiar with the brand can also check out Mövenpick signatures such as the daily Chocolate Hour.

Golfers will enjoy teeing off at two championship golf courses, designed by Jack Nicklaus and Ian Baker-Finch.

When open, the resort will also be home to Bintan’s largest meetings and events facilities. This includes a 900 sqm grand ballroom, and 1,100 sqm of additional flexible space across 12 function rooms.
