Recent rumors suggested the closure of two iconic casinos at Resorts World Genting in Malaysia, Genting Casino 1 (Circus Palace) and Genting Casino 2 (Hollywood), on 28 February due to dwindling patronage.

The resort clarified that the closure is temporary, focusing on ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the overall gaming and entertainment experience. Patrons were assured of uninterrupted gaming operations, dispelling concerns of a permanent shutdown.

The statement on its website read: “In our ongoing effort to improve our operational efficiency and enhance the gaming and entertainment experience for our guests, we continuously upgrade our facilities. This will involve temporarily closing certain sections of our casino to facilitate the improvements. Our gaming operations continue to operate as usual.”

Additionally, the resort boasts the contemporary SkyCasino at SkyAvenue. Labelled a "modern gaming space with one of Asia's largest game selections”, SkyCasino, spanning two floors, features a spacious and contemporary design inspired by an enchanted forest theme.
