All-inclusive holiday club concept, Club Med is adding a new Exclusive Collection resort in Koh Samui, Thailand, following a hotel management agreement with local business conglomerate, Central Group Capital.
About a 25-minutes' drive from the Koh Samui Airport, Club Med Exclusive Collection Koh Samui will be redeveloped over an existing property – although the brand has declined sharing further details.
As an Exclusive Collection resort – the brand's higher-scale luxury all-inclusive resorts – it'll be the first in Thailand, and the third in the ESAP (East and South Asia, and Pacific) region.
When it opens in 2H 2028, the resort will offer 303 keys and a private 200-metre beach, in addition to a variety of sports and beachfront activities.
Meanwhile, property redevelopment covers upgrades to existing guest rooms and public spaces, new dining concepts and the introduction of signature Club Med programmes such as the Kids Club.
The beachfront resort comes 40 years after Club Med Phuket opened in the country back in 1985.
Earlier this year, Club Med also announced the opening of Club Med Borneo in Malaysia, gearing up to welcome its first guests to the 400-key all-inclusive resort later this November.
