Soon-to-open Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur appoints GM

KUALA LUMPUR - Abhimanyu Singh has been appointed as General Manager of the Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown, which is slated to open in December.

Being at the helm of this 318-room hotel, Mr Singh, will oversee all aspects of operational management as well as implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and guest satisfaction for the hotel. This will be the third Four Points by Sheraton in Malaysia, with the other properties being in Puchong, Selangor and Sandakan, Sabah.

With a career span of 15 years, his association with Marriott International began in 2004 with the iconic JW Marriott Mumbai, Juhu and in a short span of time became the Front Desk Manager at the very same hotel. Mr Singh has had the opportunity to work with various brands within Marriott International and has played a vital role in the opening of some iconic hotels, such as the JW Mumbai Sahar which is the largest JW Marriott hotel in India, JW Marriott Macau and JW Marriott Pune to name a few.

Prior to this appointment he held the position of Resident Manager at the JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, Vietnam. He was part of the pre-opening team that was credited with the launch and positioning of Marriott International's first luxury hotel in Vietnam.

He has earned numerous awards as testament for his body of work. Amongst them are Rooms Leader of the Year – Luxury, Marriott International, Asia Pacific – 2017 and 2015; the prestigious Global Marriott Rooms Leadership Award - EDGE (Excellence in Delivering the Guest Experience) in 2012.
