Carlton Hotel Singapore has appointed Niall Cowan as its new general manager, following his success at Carlton City Hotel Singapore, where he led the hotel through post-pandemic recovery, introduced innovative dining concepts, and achieved sustainability certification.
For the latter, Cowan brings his passion for corporate social responsibility from professional to personal, where he contributes to marine conservation projects in the Maldives, taking part in collaborative shark research to protect and conserve the region's marine biodiversity.
The seasoned hotelier brings with him over 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality across Asia, Africa, and Europe, including leadership roles at The Savoy and The Berkeley in London.
