CWT has appointed Michelle McKinney Frymire as CEO, who will begin her role starting 1 May. Incumbent Kurt Ekert will be stepping down and remain as a senior advisor to the company.
Frymire joined the B2B travel management platform in 2019, and was most recently leading as president, strategy & transformation as well as CFO in October 2020, after CWT went through a major restructure following the wake of Covid-19.
The industry stalwart has over 20 years of travel industry experience, having come from other leadership roles such as CFO at Starwood Vacation Ownership and Delta Technology (a division of Delta Airlines), as well as Continental Airlines and Delta Air Lines. Frymire has also managed strategy, technology, HR, corporate development and finance at private equity portfolio companies.
