Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) has appointed Philipp Knuepfer as the
new chief operating officer of Sunset Hotels & Resorts. With over 20
years of international experience in luxury hospitality, Knuepfer will
oversee global operations to support the group's growth.
Knuepfer joins SHG from Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, where he
served as area vice president and general manager across Singapore,
Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines. His strategic capabilities and
commercial expertise in developed and developing markets will contribute
to SHG's expansion plan of developing, opening, and operating 20 new
hotels by the end of 2025.
Based out of SHG’s Singapore office, Knuepfer aims to solidify Sunset
Hotels & Resorts' reputation as a leader in hospitality. His focus
will be on delivering pioneering hotel concepts and extraordinary
lifestyle hospitality experiences globally.
