Six Senses has appointed Neil Palmer as Chief Operating Officer, who joins with 37 years of international hospitality experience.

Palmer will manage the brand's portfolio of hotels, resorts and spas in 20 countries, with a further 34 upcoming properties signed in the development pipeline.

The industry veteran spent 25 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, including as Senior Vice President Operations Asia Pacific where he built and oversaw the pre-opening hotel pipeline within the region.

He then took on the role of Chief Executive Officer and Co-owner of premium luxury company, Per AQUUM Retreats & Resorts. Most recently, Palmer launched Elements HSC, a company he co-established specialising in global hospitality consulting and asset management.

Palmer and his family will be shifting from New Zealand to Singapore for this role.
