World of Hyatt has revealed an updated loyalty programme for 2024,
aimed at providing increased flexibility and diverse choices for its
members.
Experiencing exponential growth over the past five years, World of
Hyatt has seen a fourfold surge in its membership base. The programme
revamp introduces expanded award options, allowing members to choose,
gift, and redeem rewards online or via the World of Hyatt app.
The programme update concentrates on rewarding and recognising
individuals who contribute significantly to travel, such as event
planners, travel agents, and small business administrators. These
enhancements aim to elevate their status and reward milestones when they
select Hyatt for their clientele and professional affiliations.
Specifically:
- Event planners & travel agents: Organisers of
events or those booking on behalf of travellers can earn two qualifying
night credits toward tier status for every US$5,000 spent (up to
US$150,000) on eligible events, Hyatt Privé bookings, or qualifying
bookings through Hyatt channels with an associated IATA number. This can
accumulate up to 60 qualifying night credits, qualifying for Globalist
status.
- Small business administrators: Earn two qualifying night credits for every US$5,000 spent (up to US$150,000) annually, granted upon full payment.
Moreover, members will receive more frequent recognition and the
choice to utilise their awards or gift them to others. Milestone Rewards
will commence after 20 qualifying nights or 35,000 Base Points,
offering various perks such as bonus points, wellbeing experiences, or
suite upgrades. These perks continue every ten qualifying nights.
The new milestone rewards include:
- 2K next stay: Earn 2,000 Bonus Points on the next stay at select Hyatt hotels.
- FIND experience credit: Receive a US$25-$300 FIND credit based on the number of qualifying nights.
- Miraval extra night: Avail a complimentary second night at Miraval resorts.
- Ultimate free night award: Enjoy a free night in
select Category 1-8 hotels, Category A-F all-inclusive resorts, or
participating Miraval resorts (earned at 150 qualifying nights).
- Guest of honour award: A luxurious new Milestone
Reward offering a Globalist experience, redeemable for stays up to 7
nights, which can be gifted up to 10 times/year starting at the 40
Qualifying Night / 65,000 Base Point milestone
