TUI Blue, the leisure hotel brand under TUI Group, has expanded its presence in Asia with the opening of its first hotels in China and Malaysia. This follows the brand’s recent launches in Thailand and Vietnam, part of a broader push into the region.

Three new hotels mark TUI Blue’s debut in China: TUI Blue Wusongkou Cruise Port in Shanghai with 83 rooms, TUI Blue Taicang in Jiangsu province with 129 rooms, and TUI Blue Yangshuo Xiangheli in Guilin, known for its scenic karst landscape. These properties aim to attract guests seeking local cultural experiences.

In Malaysia, TUI Blue The Haven Ipoh, with 150 rooms, opened its doors in September. Located in Perak, the hotel provides access to the city’s colonial architecture and outdoor activities.

Commenting on the expansion, Artur Gerber, managing director of TUI Blue Hotels & Resorts, said: “Our rapid expansion in China and Southeast Asia underscores the strong demand for the TUI Blue brand in these fast-growing travel markets.”

Further openings in Southeast Asia are already planned, with TUI Blue Maduzi Bangkok in Thailand and TUI Blue Berawa in Bali set to launch soon.
