Enshrouded amongst the lush foliage of trees on Thailand's Koh
Phangan lies a secret eco-friendly resort that only a handful of
travellers are aware of. Somewhere Only We Know is a clandestine
hospitality concept akin to the many hidden bars that have popped up all
over the word, with secrecy being its main draw point.
Travellers will find that their experience with Somewhere Only We
Know kicks off with an adventure even before they step foot into the
hotel itself. There are neither signs nor roads leading to this
five-star resort, which is only accessible via a five-minute hike
through a verdant jungle or a boat ride.
With only three villas available, and each accommodating only two
guests, the resort only caters to a maximum number of six guests during
100% occupancy.

The villas are spread out on a 10,000sqm stretch of golden sand, and
utilises eco-technologies such as natural air conditioning and zero
emission septic systems as part of its eco-friendly initiatives.
Other unique features include a slide from the bedroom directly to
the beach, a 16m tall observation net, a fireman’s pole linking the
floors, outdoor rainshower, and many Instagrammable features scattered
throughout.
Guests are able to explore the three private beaches on the resort at
their own leisure, get an exclusive experience curated for them, or
choose from the resort’s 80 over experiences and excursions, including
tailor-made wellness and spiritual programmes. Amenities include a
private restaurant and spa reserved only for resort guests.
Despite its hidden location, the resort is conveniently located
minutes away from civilisation where guests can find a range of F&B,
nightlife and shopping options.
Somewhere Only We Know is reopening on 15 July 2022.
