The all-inclusive 300-room Club Med Ho Tram will focus on millennials, multi-generation families, signature activities and local culture.

Club Med has signed for its first Vietnam resort in partnership with long-term Vietnam experts Dynasty Investments.

The Club Med Ho Tram will be set on a private beach in 13 hectares of grounds, offering signature activities like trapeze, archery, watersports and yoga.

Xavier Desaulles, CEO of East and South Asia & Pacific for Club Med, said the brand was “unveiling a new destination I feel is long overdue”.

The area has long been a favourite with Ho Chi Minh weekenders who regard it as a health destination, thanks to its moderate climate and clean ocean. Curative hot springs, 11,000 hectares of rainforest reserve and a Greg Norman golf course add to its appeal.

Club Med’s focus on happiness and health has led to its recent campaign, ‘Amazing You’.

“When you come to Club Med we want to amaze you with all the activities and all the fun you can have while staying,” Desaulles said. “And by doing the activities you are becoming amazing yourself.”

Dynasty Investments has focused on real estate, hospitality and technology for over a decade, and is known for renovating and repositioning boutique hotel Villa Song and its Les Rives speedboat tours.

Maxwell Federbush, managing partner of Dynasty Investments, said, ”There’s nothing else really like this brand in Vietnam.

“It’s a smart move, not only for inbound tourism for existing Club Med customers but also outbound for Vietnamese to discover the rest of Club Med’s resorts too.”

Olivier Do Ngoc, co-founder Dynasty Investments, added, “There is such a thing as being in the right place at the right time and Vietnam is finally coming together and ready to develop very fast.

“There are hotel brands who would love to be in Vietnam in a place like this. We believe Club Med is the best brand to partner with, bringing together culture, history, food and the rich heritage and spirit of Vietnamese people.”
