Accor will debut its Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts brand come 2024 in Brisbane, which is set to host the Olympics in 2032.

In partnership with private development group Keylin, the 96-key Mövenpick Hotel Brisbane Spring Hill will stand 15 storeys high at the city’s oldest suburb, which borders the Victoria Parklands and the Brisbane CBD.

Aligning with its locale's mix of heritage architecture, the new hotel will be decked out in art deco-inspired designs, such as terrazzo flooring and marble columns.

Amenities include a restaurant, bars, a fitness centre, and a 25m swimming pool. Signature brand experiences such as daily Chocolate Hour will also be offered.

Planners can also consider its conference facilities, capable of hosting more than 100 guests. The precinct is also home to the RNA Showgrounds as an alternative venue.

Concurrently, the neighbouring Victoria Park is also undergoing a major revitalisation towards becoming one of Australia's largest urban parks.

The new launch will also mark the third Mövenpick Hotel in Australia, joining sister properties in Melbourne and Hobart.
