The Mondrian Singapore Duxton is making a big statement even before its Q2 2023 opening.
General manager Robert C. Hauck is assembling a crew of “mavericks,
artists and free-thinkers” to create a hotel experience which, he says,
will be unlike any other in Singapore.
The debut of the 302-key Mondrian Singapore Duxton in Southeast Asia
is the latest addition to the brand’s portfolio of seven hotels (other
locations in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, London, Cannes, Doha and
Seoul).
Design
is focal point of the Mondrian experience with hotels being signed off
by some of the world’s best known architects and designers, including
Philippe Starck and Marcel Wanders.
Since its launch in Los Angeles in 1996 by Ian Schrager, Mondrian
Hotels’ characteristic unconventionality extends into its talent hiring
practices and its commitment to creativity, art and the unexpected.
So, what can guests expect in Singapore?
Along with innovation and creativity, Mondrian says it “provides a
playful framework so that guests and locals alike can immerse themselves
in the culture of each city it inhabits”.
